Gregg, Do you remember playing with Red Hot Chicken at Big Daddy's Lounge at the Pier on Daytona Beach, Florida back in 1974 or so? My band, Bicardi, also played there and we stayed in the hotel room next door to you all. I remember we spent many an afternoon playing guitar together. A year or so later I ran into you at Grant's Lounge in Macon and you invited me to come sit in for a couple of nights. Grant's was a great place at the time. When I went by there a while back, Mr. Grant's daughter remembered Red Hot Chicken. I remembered you but had forgotten your last name which she provided so I've finally gotten around to looking you up. It's a real pleasure to see that you're still cooking. I downloaded all of your stuff from the iTunes store today! Warmest regards, T. Hopkins.

Hi Gregg,
Do you remember having a band called Kriss Kross here in Maryland around 1970?
Your drummer's name was Jerry Najara who died.
I knew his brother Gary who was also a drummer, he later had a band called Joint Effort that I videotaped one of
their gigs.
You used to play around the area in PG { Prince Georges } county here in Maryland, P.G. community college for one.
You were great then, you should be super famous by now as you're as good if not better than Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Why didn't you ever release 1988 Wake Up Call?
It's a great album, it would have put you on the map with other great guitarists in 1988 such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai.
It's unreal that few people know who you are or have heard your music, if you had the right promotion you could become a household name.
I've turned people on to your music, had you added on tastebuds.fm
You should tour the east coast some time.

I first saw Greg perform at LSU's Greek Amphitheater around 1976 or 77. I could hear music playing before I got to the venue & thought they were playing Hendrix over the PA. Nope, it was Greg Wright & he sounded awesome. I thought if they ever made a Jimi Hendrix Bio movie Greg should be the man. I've always wondered how his career worked out & I am so glad things seem to be going so well.

I was lucky enough to see Gregg in a small club down in Deep Ellum, Dallas, TX back in 1990 or 1991. I also play music for my bread and butter, and just wanted to say Gregg's show that day had a deep impact on me as a musician. I was so impressed by the whole thing. Gregg's version of Liitle Wing from that day is unmatched. To this day, I've never seen anyone play or sing it better.

Hi Gregg, I'm pretty sure you won't remember me !! I was one of the guitar players in an Essex band called The Business (I still am !!)and you supported us at The Towngate theater in Basildon in 1995. I remember commenting at the time that we should have been supporting you lol. you blew me away especially when you got the guitar to say "goodnight" hahahah awesome stuff, I also was playing at the Crazy Days Hells Angel gig in kent that summer and you broke a string which I jumped to the rescue with, and put another one on. Fantastic to see your career go in such a positive way. I recently bought Gregg Wright's left Hook which brought back alot of happy memories and STILL make the hair on the back of my neck stand up at the bridge in Heaven and Hell brrrrrr lol. In those days did you used to tune down to D ??? and how did you get your awesome solo sound. do you still play anything from Left hook ??? are you ever coming back to Essex ??? Best wishes for everything you do, John .

dear Gregg - I have never sees such a passion so focused and well directed in anyone, let alone in a teen-ager and coming to fruition
in a talented, gentle and humble man. I am so happy for you. The last time I saw you was during the Michael Jackson Victory Tour. You called Suitland High School and invited me to come have a drink with you and your fiancée at the time. What a joy it was to see
the stability and readiness to move on. You had always impressed me with your kindness and humility - and there it was!! You had
maintained your passion and honed your talent. I applaud you. I don't expect you to remember me - but you left me making an
indelible impression. Performing in the Dram room for us. I was your English teacher. Well done.Gregg

I saw Gregg Wright in the Talbot Arms in Burton on Trent, UK, probably more then 15 years ago. At the time I thought it was one of the best guitar performances I had seen so close to home. Big left handed player who covered Hendrix brilliantly. It was a relatively small venue with a mix of talent. I seem to think we watched Aynsley Lister a couple of weeks before. Gregg was brilliant. I have recently compiled my 35 best ballad blues and rock songs onto a playlist and include "Or Die Trying". Truly great track.
I recollect buying him a drink which was probably a pint of Marston's Pedigree for which i got a an autograph on the Round One CD.
All the very best Gregg. Thanks for the memory

Hi Gregg,
The wife & I really enjoyed your last show at Phil Brady's; and intend to make the June 2nd show (my birthday weekend) for an early front row seat. Thanks for allowing the facebook post, we hope to see you soon. I've even got a special one of a kind, left-handed Strat; we want you to try out! It was finished by Tim's, you should love it. Contact us for the details. Can't wait for your next series of shows!!!

Good morning Gregg. I'm planning on attending your gig tonight in Baton Rouge and would like to shoot some HD video if that's okay with you and the people at Phil Brady's. I'd also like to plug into your board for audio if you can set that up with your sound guy. Please let me know....

I miss living in Louisiana so I could see Gregg when he plays.
in Baton Rouge. My buddies catch him at Phil Brady's each time &
rub it in on what I missed!
Gregg, come see us in Seattle! The Triple Door would be awesome!
